Hecklle - ThunderClan - she-cat -Med Cat « Thread Started on Jun 26, 2007, 8:53pm »
Name: Hecklle Gender: She-cat Age: 28 moons Clan: ThunderClan Rank: Medicine Cat Mate: Nevaaaa!!!! Kits: Nope. She's a Medicine Cat. One that follows the rules. Breed: Randombred Cat Appearance:
Hecklle has thick, fluffy, black fur that is about two inches long. The only exception for this color rule is when Hecklle is in very bright sunlight. When she is in a strong beam of sunlight, her fur appears an extremely dark shade of brown. Hecklle's fur doesn't usually get tangled, but it is almost always out of place. Her frame appears larger because of her thick fur, but her frame is actually quite average-sized. The only thing about her that isn't average sized is her bone width. Her bones are very broad, giving her a powerful look. Her paws are also very wide, which awards her with very impressive balance. Her claws, even when pulled in, are so long that you can see them, and if she is walking on a hard surface, they make a soft clicking noise. Despite this, she never uses her claws for anything more than collecting herbs and climbing trees, if necessary. Hecklle's legs are also thick, carrying her body gracefully around wherever she needs to go. Additionally, Hecklle's legs possess speed, which is helpful when she needs to get to a hurt cat quickly. Hecklle's body is normal sized, but covered in such fluff that it seems enormous. The plush fur on her body is so long that it covers the base of her legs, making her legs seem shorter. The fur that covers her bodice is very soft and silky to the touch, but it does not shine like most cats with silky fur. Her neck is just a little on the short side, and her head is positioned gracefully on it. Her head is covered in the luscious fur that coats her body, only a tad shorter in length. Hecklle's eyes posses a bright amber color, with a hint of green shining around her pupils, like a leaf caught in an amber stone. Her nose is a dark black, barely distinguishable from the fur that surrounds it. Beneath her nose are her two rows of bright, white teeth. When her mouth is closed, the tips sick out just enough to show you how sharp they are. But, like her claws, she never uses then to inflict pain. On the complete opposite of her body, her tail is coated in fur that is even longer than that on the rest of her body. Hecklle's tail is very long, extending at least three inches past average tail-length, adding to her balance. The end result of all these features is a stocky-looking cat who looks like a cat of power, as well as one who can cause some serious damage, despite how far away that may be from the actual cat. whn she walks, however, she carries herself with rare elegance and grace.
Personality:
To be simple Hecklle is a caring cat that cannot stand to sit back and watch while another cat suffers. However, Hecklle is really quite a more complex cat than those words. No few words can explain her. Just a glance at Hecklle gives anyone the completely wrong description of her. Hecklle may look like a cat that carries a lot of power, but Hecklle doesn't act like she is in such a high position in ThunderClan. In her mind, she is supposed to help her clan the best she can, not have them serve her. Hecklle shrugs help away whenever it is offered, claiming it distracts the cat from it's rightful duties in the Clan. It does not matter how tired she is, how much work she has to do, Hecklle works by herself until it is all done. She doesn't take breaks from the task at hand, no matter how monstrous it may seem. She just works through it, until it's all done. Hecklle loves what she does, and to her, if her life were anything different she would die. To Hecklle, a cat in pain is an unbearable sight. It very rarely matters who the cat is, what they've done in the past. Another interesting facet of Hecklle's personality is her patience. Depending on the situation, Hecklle's patience varies. Usually she does not have much, but when it would be best in the situation to have lots, suddenly Hecklle gets filled with unexplainable patience. That is, summed up in these words, Hecklle's personality.
History:
Hecklle was born on the streets of a big city, where all the cats suffered pain and grief. Hecklle had to watch in distress as slowly, one by one, her brothers and sisters died around her. Finally, it was only her and her mother left alive. Pain and hunger radiated off of her mother in waves, no matter what was going on. One day, Hecklle could stand it no longer. She had just been weaned, so no longer needed her mother. It was time to go. For what felt like moons, Hecklle wandered aimlessly around, discovering hunger to the extent of near starvation, but still walking. All of this, from a kit. A kit that could not stand the pain in the city, pain she could do nothing about. In the morning of a day about a moon into her journey, she saw a forest, with the scent of cat wafting from it in certain areas. A discovery that would change her life forever, it happened that day. The day she turned six moons old. ThunderClan accepted her into their rankings but it became painstakingly obvious that Hecklle could not become a warrior like the other cats. The destiny of Medicine Cat should be hers, would be hers. And it was. Hecklle trained for moons under the kind guidance of Rippedbelly, the previous Medicine Cat. During her training, Hecklle learned everything there was to know about StarClan, and despite her odd past, she came to believe very strongly in them. Hecklle's training was harder than any other Medicine cat, as she had no idea of the Warrior code or other clan ways, like most other cats knew before apprenticeship. Sadly, Rippedbelly's life was cut short when a fox attacked a cat, and Rippedbelly went in to save it. The fox murdered the other cat, and Rippedbelly as well. Hecklle willingly took the complete duties of being Medicine Cat herself for her Clan. Her mother gave her one part name to her, and she was unwilling to change it upon entering the Clans, even when she became Medicine Cat.
Roleplay Example:
Hecklle walked slowly into the clearing, her mind racing. There was definitely the smell of cats here, but they smelled different than the city cats. "H-Hel-lo?" Hecklle stuttered, glancing around the sun-filled clearing. "I-is anyone there?" she nervously added. Of course there were other cats there, Hecklle could already tell that the scent of cat was very fresh, but if they did not reply, she wanted to get out of there. They might not be friendly, and she was no match for a full-grown cat. Thinking back, Hecklle thought of the nice territory she had passed through to get here. If these cats, as she could smell many, let her stay, Hecklle would probably be quite comfortable. There was tons of prey, a beautiful camp, and a large territory. Oh, how she wished she could be a part of this! Fluffing out her fur so she would seem larger, Hecklle prepared herself for the other cat, or cats, that would most likely come. She did her best to try and make her-self seem older, stronger, and braver, while searching the camp with her eyes. Either she was being impatient, or the cats were taking their time!
